Property Appraiser Garcia refuses to concede

Miami-Dade Property Appraiser incumbent Pedro Garcia wants to be sure the ballots were properly counted.

Currently, the unofficial winner is Carlos Lopez-Cantera.  As it stands, Lopez-Cantera was won by about 8,000 Absentee votes.  As the County has recently been dealing with Absentee ballot fraud by alleged ballot brokers, Garcia is concerned.  He has stated that he is not accusing Lopez-Cantera of wrongdoing but feels it needs to be looked into.

This election was decide by only a few percent.  Lopez-Cantera won with 51.21% to Garcia's 48.79%.  You may see the full breakdown at the following link.
